What you will do::
Deliver building materials to customer job sites in a safe and timely manner
Operate flatbed trucks and safely load/unload materials
Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform basic preventative maintenance
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently
Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
Collect, verify, and follow delivery instructions
Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly
What you will bring::
Valid CDL Class A license
Proven experience as a commercial truck driver
Forklift experience preferred
Strong knowledge of DOT and truck-driving regulations
Ability to drive long hours and adapt to traffic, weather, and job-site conditions
No recent moving or driving violations
Comfortable using electronic equipment (GPS, mobile apps, etc.)
Requirements
Pass a DOT physical
Pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening
Pass a company background check related to safe driving
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
