Armstrong Field Solutions is currently searching for a full-time CDL Driver and Equipment Operator to plan and execute transportation of goods and equipment to our clients in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Must have valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)- clean driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and alcohol test
• Proven work experience as a CDL Truck Driver
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain trucks and equipment to meet company standards and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations
• Perform pre and post trip inspections of the truck and trailer
• Ensure all freight is secured to prevent damage
