Position Details
Position: CDL Class A Retail Delivery Driver
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Home Time: Local Routes - Home Daily
Overtime: Available and paid in accordance with company policy

As a CDL Class A Retail Delivery Driver, you will:
Safely operate a Class A commercial tractor-trailer in compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, state, and company regulations.
Complete multi-stop retail delivery routes accurately and on schedule.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Verify freight before departure and at each delivery location.
Safely maneuver equipment in retail locations, warehouses, distribution centers, and customer facilities.
Follow customer-specific delivery procedures and proof-of-delivery requirements.
Secure freight properly and protect products from damage.
Communicate delivery updates, delays, and route issues with dispatch and operations.
Complete bills of lading, delivery receipts, inspection reports, and electronic documentation accurately.
Utilize electronic logging devices (ELDs), mobile communication tools, and proof-of-delivery technology.
Maintain assigned tractor and trailer in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Road Warrior Staffing professionally.
Required Qualifications
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
Minimum 2 years of recent Class A CDL driving experience
Current DOT Medical Card
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to meet all DOT/FMCSA qualification requirements
Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to accurately complete transportation documentation
Flexible to work schedules based on operational needs
Preferred Qualifications
Multi-stop retail delivery experience
Final-mile delivery experience
Dedicated fleet experience
Retail distribution experience
Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
Experience with mobile proof-of-delivery systems
Experience navigating high-volume metropolitan delivery routes
Physical Requirements
Drivers must be able to:
Sit and drive for extended periods
Frequently enter and exit commercial vehicles
Walk, stand, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday
Secure freight and perform delivery-related physical activities
Work safely in various weather, warehouse, roadway, and customer-site environments
