Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Class A Driver/Yard Jockey to support product movement between building locations within Wellsburg, WV. This role involves driving between company buildings to transport products safely and efficiently. This is a temporary position with the potential to become a direct hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Schedule

Steady afternoon shift; candidates must also be flexible to work occasional day shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles to move products between building locations in Wellsburg.
  • Perform yard jockey duties, including moving trailers and products between facilities.
  • Ensure the safe and timely transportation of materials.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations.
  • Communicate with supervisors and warehouse/production teams regarding product movement.
  • Maintain professionalism and reliability while working independently.
  • Assist with related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL required.
  • Prior yard jockey, local driving, or commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to work steady afternoon shift.
  • Flexibility to work weekends.
  • Strong safety mindset and good attendance.
  • Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.
  • Must be reliable and comfortable driving short routes between nearby company buildings.
