Job Description
- Drive and operate commercial trucks to transport materials, equipment, and crews
- Load, unload, and properly secure materials using approved tie-down procedures
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain driver logs
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, and skid steers
- Assist with landscape construction and general job site duties as needed
- Use GPS and maps to plan efficient travel routes
- Report equipment condition using service and hazard reports
- Support snow and ice operations during winter months, including on-call work
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with all safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A driver's license in good standing
- Experience operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable, team-oriented work ethic with schedule flexibility
