About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL B driver for local dedicated route delivery operations based in Grove City, Ohio. This position offers steady work, a consistent daytime schedule, and approximately 40 hours per week. The first week includes training.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $26.32 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday availability
• Start time: 7:00 a.m.
• Typical workday: Approximately 8 hours

Job Details

• Route type: Local dedicated routes
• Service area: All stops are within a 100-mile radius of Columbus, Ohio
• Stops: Approximately 4–6 stops per day
• Freight: Cable boxes delivered to point-of-sale facilities
• Equipment: 26-foot straight truck with liftgate
• Handling: High-touch freight using a manual pallet jack
• Load weight: Palletized loads may weigh up to 1,500 pounds
• Delivery conditions may include hills and gravel surfaces

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot straight truck with liftgate on local dedicated routes
• Deliver cable boxes to point-of-sale facilities in accordance with applicable safety standards
• Complete approximately 4–6 stops per day within the Columbus-area service radius
• Use a manual pallet jack to move palletized freight, including on hills or gravel surfaces when required
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B
• 2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Straight truck or box truck experience preferred
• Ability to safely perform high-touch deliveries using a manual pallet jack
• Ability to handle palletized freight weighing up to 1,500 pounds
