CDL A Yard Jockey | $27 to $28 per hour | Wilton, NY
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Yard Jockey to support local operations based in Wilton, New York.
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Yard Jockey Details
Schedule: Various schedules, 12 hour shifts - 6 to 6, AM or PM.
Pay: $27 per hour for day shifts - $28 per hour for night shifts
CDL A Yard Jockey Minimum Requirements:
License: CDL A
Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Yard Jockey Responsibilities:
Yard horse moves - 60 moves per shift
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
