CDL-A Truck Driver

We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local position in Schodack Landing, NY. This is a high-paying, home-daily opportunity with consistent freight and strong earning potential.

Position Details:

• Location: Schodack Landing / Nassau, NY (12156)
• Home Time: Daily
• Operating Area: 250-mile radius of Albany, NY (No NYC)
• Schedule: Thursday – Monday
• Start Time: 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 6th Day: Optional, required during peak seasons

Pay & Compensation:

• $0.76 – $0.78 CPM
• Average annual pay: $96,600
• $94/day minimum (must work full schedule)
• $40 per stop
• $25 drop & hook
• $225 – $400/day off-account work
• $240/day training pay
• $20/hour safety training
• $200/day holiday pay

Job Duties:

• Dedicated grocery deliveries
• Pre-loaded trailers
• Palletized freight
• Multi-stop routes (2 stops per trailer)
• Driver assist unload with pallet jack
• Strong customer interaction required

Equipment:

• Automatic day cabs
• 48' & 53' trailers (box and reefer)
• Slip-seat operation
• Trucks cannot be taken home
• Uniforms provided

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Must meet DOT and safety requirements
• Must be able to perform physical unloading with pallet jack
• Strong work ethic and reliability
