Position Overview
We are seeking a professional CDL-A OTR Truck Driver to represent our carrier from the Jonesboro, AR area. You will run dedicated and regional OTR lanes connecting the Mid-South to the Midwest, Southeast, and Gulf Coast corridors. This is a high-mileage, high-reward position designed for drivers who value consistent miles, modern equipment, and a safety-first culture.
Compensation & Weekly Scale
- Target weekly gross earnings ceiling: $1,750 (based on 2,500+ miles per week)
- Pay model: CPM (Cents Per Mile) with tiered increases based on tenure and safety performance
- Mileage pay: $0.55 – $0.65 CPM depending on experience and lane assignment
- Stop pay, layover pay, and detention pay included
- Performance and safety bonuses paid quarterly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience (no exceptions)
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with no current restrictions
- Clean MVR and employment history per federal guidelines
- Safety Gate Requirements (strict):
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- Zero DUIs or drug-related convictions in the last 5 years
- Must be able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) for select lanes
Primary Routes & Corridors
Our OTR network from Jonesboro leverages your home base along the I-55/I-40 corridor, with primary lanes including:
- Mid-South Connector: Jonesboro to Memphis, TN, then onward to Nashville, TN, and Atlanta, GA (I-40/I-24/I-75)
- Gulf Coast Run: Jonesboro to Little Rock, AR, then to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, and Houston, TX (I-30/I-45)
- Midwest Lane: Jonesboro to St. Louis, MO, then to Chicago, IL, and Indianapolis, IN (I-55/I-70)
- Southeast Turn: Jonesboro to Birmingham, AL, then to Charlotte, NC, and back (I-22/I-65/I-85)
While you will be OTR, dispatch works to get you home every 10-14 days for 34-hour reset. Average length of haul: 800-1,200 miles per load.
