Our client is seeking an experienced CDL A Flatbed Driver for a hybrid route out of Tuscaloosa, AL. We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to drive new Mack Anthem trucks with the latest technology.

About the Position

This position involves driving a hybrid local/regional route with a commitment to safety and professional driving practices.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: Starting at $22.75/hr + OT; $65 per diem when out.
• Weekly Earnings: $1,500 - $1,800
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, with a start time around 2 AM to deliver to the surrounding area and return to the yard empty. Will be out 2-3 nights a week.
• Hours per week: Operate on a 70-hour clock - on average 55 to 60 hours a week.
• Route Type: Hybrid - local/regional
• Slip Seat: Yes

Job Details

• Training: Pay during training; Training lasts 2-4 weeks, depending on the driver’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean work history and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
• Complete required paperwork and logs accurately.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• CDL A License.
• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Commitment to safety and professional driving practices.
