Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver grocery freight from the Kroger Distribution Center in Salem, VA locally and to stores in VA Beach, Richmond, OH, KY, TN, and WV.
- Run local and semi-local routes, ensuring you’re home weekly and through the house often.
- Check off Freight at customer locations, verifying the accuracy of all deliveries. Some touch with totes is required
- Maintain excellent customer service by providing a positive and professional experience at each store.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure your assigned equipment is properly maintained.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL & DOT Med Card
- 24 months recent and Verifiable Class A Driving Experience
- Acceptable MVR/PSP/Clearinghouse/Background
