CDL A/Concrete Finisher

Our client in Lake County, OH is seeking skilled and experienced** Concrete Finishers & CDL A Drivers** with a strong background in concrete placement and finishing for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing high-quality work while working efficiently as part of a team. This role requires hands-on expertise in screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and applying surface treatments to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete construction industry

• Strong knowledge of concrete preparation, forming, and finishing

• Ability to work independently and proactively on job sites

• Proficiency with concrete hand tools and power equipment

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions

• Reliable transportation

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare, form, and finish concrete surfaces accurately and professionally

• Demonstrate proficiency with trowel, broom, and hand finishing techniques

• Determine appropriate tools and equipment needed for each job

• Form and finish concrete to proper grade and specifications

• Inspect forms to ensure correct pitch and elevations

• Operate straight edges (single-man and two-man) as needed

• Cut joints using straight edges and pole jointers

• Rake, screed, float, and hand or power trowel concrete

• Form expansion joints and edges using edging tools and jointers

• Chip, scrape, and grind high spots or rough areas using pneumatic or power tools

• Stamping experience is preferred but not required

• Ability to survey grid lines and elevations is a plus
