What You'll Do
As the CD Specialist - CDC Finance, you'll work with business owners, lenders, and community partners to connect entrepreneurs with financing through specialized loan programs. This role combines financial analysis, business development, loan administration, and customer service to help local businesses succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist business owners with financing solutions through specialized loan programs
- Build relationships with lenders, economic development partners, and community organizations
- Promote loan programs through outreach, networking, and presentations
- Review loan applications, financial statements, and supporting documentation
- Prepare loan recommendations, coordinate closings, and maintain loan files
- Assist with marketing initiatives, reporting, audits, and department operations
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
What You Bring | Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to two years of experience in banking, finance, commercial lending, economic development, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Preferred Certifications & Licenses
- Valid Indiana Driver's License
- Ability to obtain required SBA lending clearances
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Commercial lending and financial analysis
- Loan documentation and underwriting
- SBA and economic development lending programs
- Microsoft Office Suite and lending software preferred
