The Child Care Consultant Supervisor in the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) program provides support, coaching and supervision to Child Care Consultants. Child Care Consultants provide telephone, e-mail and on-site technical assistance and on-site consultation services to child care providers.

As a Child Care Consultant Supervisor, you will:
- Participate in statewide Iowa CCR&R system building activities.
- Be responsible for the regional coordination of consultation services including providing regular supervision of Child Care Consultants, observing on-site consultations, providing ongoing support and coaching, and identifying professional development needs of the team.
- Develop collaborative partnerships with area boards, early childhood partners and identified funders.
- Ensure marketing of CCR&R services throughout assigned counties to local businesses and employers by providing presentations to community organizations about CCR&R services and child care issues, participating in community fairs to ensure families, providers and businesses are aware of CCR&R services, and sharing appropriate data regarding child care in the area to support community development.

- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement or closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory and/or leadership experience.
- Child care experience (home or center).
- Excellent computer, organizational and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and driving record that meets agency guidelines (this position requires extensive driving).
