The City of Columbus Department of Technology is seeking a part-time experienced business analyst with application documentation or support experience to document functionality of ~20 custom applications and research options for replacing each. This role requires working directly with business users and subject matter experts and requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. Also, experience documenting workflows will be critical. The business analyst will take direction from a functional architect and partner with them to meet with city employees in person and/or via video conferencing between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm. Otherwise, work may be coordinated with the architect on a flexible schedule. This role requires excellent verbal and written communications and documentation skills. Posting is for 2026 with possible extension through 2027.
