Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The Graduate Assistant will assist in planning and executing lectures, seminars, and special events
  • Support event registration and attendance tracking
  • Provide day-of-event logistical assistance
  • Assist with promotional communications, website updates, and social media content
  • Help maintain contact lists and shared project materials
  • Provide general administrative support to the Center

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Seton Hall University graduate student
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Professional demeanor and reliability

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Interest in Catholic intellectual tradition, mission integration, or higher education administration
  • Experience with event coordination or administrative support
  • Experience with social media or digital communications
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and similar collaborative platforms

 

Physical Demands: Occasional light lifting of event materials (up to 20 lbs) and light event setup support.
