Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location:Canton, Ohio
Shift: Day Shift – 4x10 Hours (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Canton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac catheterization lab experience, including scrub responsibilities, with the ability to assist in circulator and monitoring roles as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic, interventional, and emergency cardiac catheterization procedures
- Perform scrub duties during Cath Lab procedures
- Support monitoring and circulating responsibilities as assigned
- Assist with patient care in the holding area and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab when needed
- Prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment for cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to patient safety standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
- Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system
Requirements
- Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Experience as a scrub technician required
- Current Ohio license or Compact State License required
- BLS and ACLS Certifications required (AHA preferred)
- NIHSS Certification required
- Experience with Xper (Witt) and Epic preferred
- Strong cardiac monitoring and procedural support skills required
