Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or similar interventional radiology environment
- Proficiency in performing angiography, biopsies, and other interventional procedures
- Epic EMR experience
- Valid ARRT certification and BLS certification
- Valid Louisiana State License (or ability to obtain a temporary LSRT license swiftly)
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including call shifts and weekends
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with neuro, oncology, and vascular procedures
- Familiarity with additional imaging modalities
- Prior experience floating between multiple departmental units
- Additional certifications such as CV or IR-specific credentials
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT certification
- Degree in Radiologic Technology or related healthcare field
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a high-volume cath lab setting
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour shifts, primarily Day shifts (08:00 - 18:30)
- Willingness to work one day per week on call and 4-6 weekend shifts per month
- Flexibility to float to the Cath Lab as needed
- Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications current
- Travel reimbursements and other allowances provided when applicable
