About Us
Social Express Catering & Meal Prep is an Atlanta-based culinary company specializing in high-volume catering, meal production, and elevated cultural culinary experiences throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.
This summer, we are launching Fire & Flavor ATL, a bold food experience debuting during the FIFA festivities in Atlanta. We are seeking dependable, energetic, and high-functioning team members to join our operations during one of the city’s biggest international events.
Position Overview
The Catering Specialist – FIFA Activation role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can contribute beyond basic kitchen responsibilities. This position supports food production, prep, packaging, operational setup, cleanliness, and overall event execution.
We are looking for team members with urgency, professionalism, adaptability, and a strong work ethic who are excited to be part of a high-energy culinary experience.
This is a seasonal W2 position with the opportunity for long-term placement with Social Express Catering & Meal Prep following FIFA activations based on performance and operational needs.
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $20/hour (W2)
- Meals provided during shifts

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen production
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Support meal packaging and organization for service and transport
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout operations
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and operational support during activations
- Help maintain kitchen efficiency during high-volume service periods
- Restock inventory, supplies, and packaging materials as needed
- Follow all food safety and kitchen procedures
- Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff, and management
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment when needed
- Contribute wherever needed to help ensure successful operations
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, catering, meal prep, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable transportation required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and long event days
- Ability to follow directions while also thinking independently
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification is a plus

Schedule
Seasonal schedule based around FIFA match and activation dates throughout June and July. Hours will vary based on event operations and production needs.

Together, they’ve built a business that’s just as comfortable catering weddings as it is managing citywide feeding contracts.

• Contract Meal Service (CACFP & Community Feeding): We produce and deliver high-quality, reimbursable meals that meet all federal/state guidelines. Kid-tested, culturally inclusive, and fully compliant.
