This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support for the Catering & Convention Services Department at a large, upscale hotel.
Essential duties include handling phone inquiries, processing correspondence, maintaining filing systems, organizing reports, and supporting event coordination activities such as creating BEOs, managing documentation, and assisting with meetings.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in catering, convention services, or hotel operations, excellent communication skills, proficiency in computer systems (including Delphi, Microsoft Office), and strong organizational abilities.
Must be adaptable, able to work under pressure, and capable of handling physical tasks like moving up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods. Availability for varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
