Catering Delivery Driver

Delivery drivers are generally offered as either part time or full time. You will be a member of the Chick-fil-A family and will help uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care. The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help us continue to meet our guest's expectations outside of the Restaurant.

Catering Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency and hospitality
• Represent Chick-fil-A by providing exceptional customer service during each delivery
• Work alongside the Kitchen and Catering Teams to prepare, organize, and assemble catering orders for accuracy and quality before delivery
• Assist in packaging, loading, and verifying catering orders to ensure all items are included
• Maintain Operational Excellence in vehicles and delivery assembly area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous) at all times
• Communicate professionally with guests and leadership regarding delivery updates or concerns
• Meet with Supervisor on shift to receive specific position and other duty(s) assigned on current shift when there are no deliveries available
• Must be willing to serve as both a delivery driver and inside restaurant support in Kitchen or Service Operations
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older in order to operate a Chick-fil-A vehicle
• Must have a working smartphone with a data plan and GPS
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license
• Ability to carry delivery tote bags (approximately 25 lbs)
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team
• Strong hospitality mindset and attention to detail
