This position is dependent upon successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, if applicable to the Business Unit practice.
Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances
Nurse Practitioner (CRNP):
Physician Assistant (PA):
Masters degree in Nurse Practitioner Program (Maryland Approved) required
The successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required Professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience is preferred Current state RN license and CRNP certification are required , State of Maryland National board certification, eligible for licensure by Maryland board of nursing, eligible for certification as a CRNP by Maryland state board of nursing Current CPR certification is required
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
