Overview:

The Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience by providing friendly service, accurate order entry, and efficient transaction processing. This role ensures every guest feels welcomed, understood, and satisfied while maintaining operational excellence, Passion for Service and food safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming guests every visit
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions, upselling and answer questions
  • Verify each guest order for accuracy, Dine-in and “to-go” orders
  • Complete required Online Ordering (OLO) accuracy verification procedures*
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system while maintaining speed and hospitality
  • Handle cash, credit, and digital payments in accordance with company cash control policies
  • Resolve guest concerns or escalate to management when necessary
  • Count register before and after each shift with management to ensure no shortage or overage
  • Assist with front-line food preparation procedures such as packaging and delivering orders to tables
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick, efficient service and quality products
  • Communicate and work effectively with others in a busy restaurant environment
  • Maintain front counter, lobby/patio and bathroom cleanliness, organization, and restocking of supplies
  • Maintain sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards in accordance with company and local regulations
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times
  • Learn different stations to assist in other operational areas as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations and team needs
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in similar roles
  • Basic math skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate POS systems
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have great interpersonal communication skills to work with others
  • Must adhere to company food safety, and personal hygiene standards

Pay Rate: USD $16.50/Hr.
