Position Overview:

The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing sales transactions. This role ensures a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, operating the register efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Accurately operate the cash register and process sales transactions

  • Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide correct change and receipts

  • Assist customers with questions, product locations, and general store information

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area

  • Support stocking and recovery of merchandise near the front end

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards

  • Report pricing, inventory, or equipment issues to management

  • Assist with store tasks as needed to support overall operations

  • Provide a positive and efficient checkout experience for every customer

Requirements:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required

  • Basic math and cash handling skills

  • Ability to operate a cash register/POS system (or willingness to learn)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Reliability and attention to detail

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
