 We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our vibrant team at Spice n Vybe, where bold Afro-Caribbean flavors, warm hospitality, and good vibes come together. You'll be the first smile our guests see — and a key part of creating the warm, culturally-rich experience we're known for.


What You'll Do:


  • Greet every guest with a smile and make them feel like family from the moment they walk in
  • Process transactions accurately using our POS system, handling cash, card, and digital payments with precision
  • Answer menu questions, explain dishes, and suggest pairings.. 
  • Package and serve orders with care and attention to presentation
  • Upsell menu items and share what makes our food special
  • Participate in product promotions and initiatives to help drive sales
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and with grace
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area
  • Track daily transactions and report any discrepancies
  • Follow all food safety protocols and support the team during high-volume periods
What We're Looking For:


  • Previous cashier or customer service experience (restaurant experience is a plus!)
  • Comfortable with POS systems and basic tech
  • Strong math and money-handling skills
  • Excellent communication and a genuine love for people
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately during busy service periods
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends
  • Interest in or appreciation for Caribbean and West African culture and cuisine is a bonus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
