We're looking for a dependable, friendly cashier to join our team in New York City. We're a small, close-knit team and we genuinely care about the people who work with us — this isn't a faceless company where you'll feel like a number.

Hours
Part-time: 16–24 hours per week, including some weekend shifts
Full-time: 35–40 hours per week across a rotating shift pattern
Shifts typically run 7:00am–3:00pm, 11:00am–7:00pm, or 2:00pm–10:00pm
We try our best to work around your availability and give at least two weeks' notice on schedules
Day-to-day responsibilities
Operating the register and processing cash, card, and contactless payments accurately
Greeting customers as they approach and helping with any questions at the checkout
Balancing your till drawer at the start and end of each shift
Keeping the checkout area stocked, tidy, and presentable throughout the day
Occasionally helping with other tasks around the store during quieter periods
Flagging pricing discrepancies or customer complaints to a supervisor promptly
What we're looking for
Someone punctual and consistent — this matters more to us than a long résumé
A warm, patient manner with customers, especially during busy periods
Comfortable handling cash and basic arithmetic under pressure
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Previous cashier or retail experience is helpful, but we're happy to train the right person
Must be eligible to work in the United States
