**Job Description:**
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional customer service experience at our establishment. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and assist customers as they enter and exit the store.
- Accurately process cash, credit/debit card transactions, gift cards, and check payments.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner or escalate them to management when necessary.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness when needed.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and there is adequate change.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives, including customer service and sales goals.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is a plus.
- Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights, if necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
