The Cashier

The Cashier is responsible for listening and responding appropriately to customer needs, maintaining extensive product knowledge, and exhibiting professionalism at the POS.

Responsibilities: • Maintain outstanding customer service standards • Possess solid product knowledge • Greet and acknowledge every customer and address any and all concerns by the customer at POS • Reinforce a rewarding customer experience • Complete all sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining all cash accountabilities at registers • Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise • Participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock • Be flexible to occasionally perform work outside your specific role

Requirements: • Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
