Wetzel's Pretzels - Immediate Crew Members Needed!

Wetzel's Pretzels is hiring a highly skilled Crew Member to join our team! As a Cashier, you will have the opportunity to meet and greet customers and provide excellent customer service, operate our state-of-the-art POS system, offer samples of our products, and help keep the store clean and organized. As a Baker, you will have the opportunity to hand-roll and bake fresh soft pretzels, prepare products according to our treasured recipes, and help keep the bakery clean and organized.

We use an automated scheduling system so you can see your schedule on your phone anytime. The system also calculates your pay, lets you send messages to your manager, pick up open shifts, and request time off. You are paid bi-weekly via direct deposit.

Job Responsibilities:

Cashiers

• Greet customers
• Provide excellent customer service
• Operate POS (point of sale) system
• Accurately handle cash, credit, ePay, gift card payments
• Upsell and cross-sell when appropriate
• Request loyalty app information and manage loyalty transactions for customers
• Process and package customer's order
• Offer samples of our products to customers as requested by the manager
• Keep cashier area and front of store clean and organized
• Assist roller/bakers with preparing products and transitioning them to warmer
• Prepare products according to store recipes and procedures
• Restock supplies and maintain customer area
• Clean various machines and areas as required
• Following opening/closing procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Bakers

• Hand-rolling and baking fresh soft pretzels and pretzel items
• Making dough with commercial mixer and using multiple commercial ovens
• Maintain product levels in warmer to match mall traffic
• Keeping the bakery clean and organized
• Prepare products according to store recipes and procedures
• Restocking reach-in refrigerator and freezer
• Clean various machines and areas as required
• Following opening/closing procedures
• Assist cashiers with preparing orders
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends, weekdays, day shifts, opening shifts, closing shifts and holidays
• No formal education required
• Passion for delivering delicious food and great customer experiences
• Basic Math Skills Required
• Basic English desired but will consider Spanish only for bakers
• English/Spanish is a plus
