Summary:
The Cash Recycler Support Specialist is responsible for partnering with Operations Management in maintaining and troubleshooting Cash Recycler(s). This position is responsible for coordinating deposits and cleanings of Cash Recycler(s) performed by managers to ensure that proper control procedures are followed as well as performing other cash management responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by Management. This is a non-exempt position and reports to the Director of Operations.
Essential Functions:
Serves as the point person for technical and operational issues related to Cash Recycler as well as coordinating armored car pickup and delivery
Coordinates and effectively communicates with managers to ensure managers are performing all Cash Recycler activities, including refills, cleaning and deposits, are performed in a safe, timely and consistent manner
Performs deep cleaning on a regular basis (bi-weekly or monthly depending on usage) and ensures recommended daily high level cleanings are performed by assigned managers on a routine basis
Prepares deposit for each Cash Recycler as needed
Ensures change order is ordered and sufficient recycler specific pars are on hand
Maintains the appropriate control environment ensuring compliance with all corporate cash recycler standards
Trains managers on how to use and clean Cash Recycler, resolve errors, and all other Cash Recycler related responsibilities
Provides Cash Handling and Key control procedures training to managers
Monitors cash loads into systems from the machine to ensure accuracy
Audits external change safe and Cash Recycler contents for discrepancies, performs initial investigation and escalates and communicates all questionable findings the Operations Controller and Loss Prevention
Performs all other duties as assigned by Management
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
Requires a High School diploma or general education development (GED) diploma
Requires a 1-3 years relevant work experience; Micros knowledge is a plus
Requires the ability to be work independently and make sound decisions
Requires excellent organizational and communication skills
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
Requires ability to work a non-traditional work schedule
Requires the ability to lift coin bags of up to 50 lbs.
Requires ability to operate company vehicle in SIDA
