Position: Cash Applications Analyst

Hours: Full-time
Duration: Contract (6-months)
Location: Must work EST
Setting: 100% Remote
Pay: $21 - $25/hour

We are seeking an analytical Cash Applications Specialist offering strong research skills and the ability to timely and accurately apply of payments to Customer Accounts.

Essential Functions and duties:
  • Review and reconcile manually processed payments.
  • Navigate multiple shared inboxes to manage workflow efficiently.
  • Conduct light client outreach—primarily via phone for U.S.-based clients and email for international customers—to resolve payment inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve cash application processes and resolve exceptions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Required Qualifications:
  • A proactive communicator who is comfortable making client calls when needed
  • Excel skills (comfort with spreadsheets; no advanced functions needed)
  • A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
