Job Title: Cash Application Coordinator
Location: Fully remote - must reside in CST or EST
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25.00 per hour Contractor
Hours: 40.0/week

Responsibilities

  • Process and apply receivables to Cash Receipts Log, Clinical Conductor (CCE), and FSM for all lines of business.
  • Perform transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance details from pharmaceutical companies.
  • Ensure accuracy of cash postings by communicating with sponsors & payers (pharmaceutical companies) to verify payment remittance details.
  • Review, interpret, and discuss remittances from payers for data accuracy.
  • Assist operations with financial information requests and inquiries regarding cash posting.
  • File correspondence from sponsors, checks, and other related documents as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accessible files, update information, purge files regularly, and create new filing systems as necessary.
  • Ensure all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently met.
  • Respond to information requests from Corporate, Internal Audit, and internal management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality to safeguard privileged and proprietary information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Basic financial operations knowledge including General Ledger.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Skilled with PC-based spreadsheet and word processing programs.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform mathematical computations accurately.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently organize work to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with management at all levels.
  • Ownership of responsibilities and follow-through on outstanding issues.
  • High attention to detail to prevent posting errors.
  • High School Graduate required; Associate’s Degree preferred; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant experience required; two years preferred, ideally in clinical trial research or healthcare environment.
