The ideal job candidate will be highly dependable and have a passion for helping those with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health, and behavioral health needs to live a more fulfilled and happy life.
Working with the individuals in a Residential Treatment Facility, you will assess his/her needs and tend to them accordingly with the goal of fostering a positive, encouraging environment and supporting individuals with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You will assist individuals in becoming more integrated in their communities by maximizing their strengths, interests, and abilities. Responsibilities also include daily living activities as needed, planning activities, supervision of individuals, documentation, passing medications, crisis management, planning therapeutic activities, etc. You will provide behavioral and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Masters level Therapist.

The Youngsville Specialty Residential (YSR) program is a specialized service for youth with a mental health diagnosis and intellectual/developmental disabilities who require intensive treatment and family-centered services to achieve reintegration back to their family and community.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
About Us
The phrase Beacon Light actually refers to two distinct companies: Beacon Light Behavioral Health System (BLBHS) and Beacon Light Adult Residential Services (BLARS). Together they provide mental health services to adults, children and families in both community-based and residential settings. Individually, BLARS primarily provides residential programs for adults, while BLBHS provides community-based and residential programs for children, as well as community-based programs for adults.
