Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join a growing custom construction company specializing in unique residential and outdoor building projects. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong framing and general carpentry experience who enjoy working on one-of-a-kind structures. Travel is required for this position.
Responsibilities

* Perform skilled carpentry work on custom construction projects
* Read and interpret basic plans, drawings, and layouts
* Utilize power tools and hand tools to construct and assemble building components
* Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas
* Collaborate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
* Maintain quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout all phases of construction
* Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Experience framing decks, residential structures, or similar construction projects required
* Timber framing or specialty carpentry experience preferred but not required
* Proficient with power tools, measuring devices, and basic construction calculations
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and safety standards
* Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods as needed
* Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
* Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
* Must provide basic hand tools and cordless drill/impact driver
* Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions year-round

Education

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
