POSITION: Cargo Agent Supervisor
Grant Aviation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cargo Agent Supervisor to lead warehouse and freight operations at our Bethel station. This rotational role follows at 2-weeks on/2-weeks off schedule, with work performed both indoors in the warehouse and outdoors on the aircraft ramp.
As the Cargo Agent Supervisor, you''ll oversee a team of Cargo Agents to ensure the safe and efficient handling of bypass mail, general freight, and cargo in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Cargo Agent Supervisor oversees load staging, mail sorting, forklift operations, and customer service, while maintaining documentation and assisting in office duties. This role is responsible for all Hazardous Materials movement to and from the Bethel station.
RESPONSIBLITIES
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid Alaska driver''s license required.
Ability to pass a 10-year background check and meet airport security requirements.
Prior experience in cargo, logistics, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
Completion of HAZMAT training within 30 days of hire.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Ability to lift and move:
0-30 lbs. (30% of the time)
30-50 lbs. (50% of the time)
50+ lbs. (20% of the time)
Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, and wind.
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a team-first attitude.
Proficient in basic computer use; experience with booking or dispatch systems is a plus.
