Join Our Team of Compassionate Caregivers & CNAs
Application Note:
This role is tied to a specific client. We are seeking a compassionate, patient caregiver to provide respite support for an 87-year-old female client living in a private, accessibility-modified home in the N Mesa area with her two family members and three dogs. We are seeking a caregiver who can cover Tuesday 12:30-5:30pm, Thursday 11:30am-9:30pm & Saturday 7am-12pm. While this role is beginning as 20 hours per week, we expect it to grow to full time once trust and rapport is established with the client and family.
Care Needs
The client uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including transfers with verbal step-by-step cueing. She has a progressive neurological condition resulting in cognitive and mobility decline; total care is anticipated over time. The home is well-equipped with widened doorways, grab bars, and a walk-in shower designed for safe wheelchair transfers.
More Than Basic Care
This client is a lifelong artist. The home includes a dedicated creative space, and art projects and crafts are a genuine source of joy and engagement for her. We are not looking for someone who simply completes tasks — we are looking for someone who will sit with her, create with her, and treat that time as equally important as any physical care task. If you bring creativity, curiosity, or simply a willingness to be present in that space with her, you will thrive here.
Ideal Candidate
This is a meaningful role supporting a vibrant, kind woman and a devoted family. If you bring calm energy, genuine compassion, and the belief that quality care includes quality moments — we'd love to connect.
About The Next Chapter Senior Care Solutions:
We are a local, family-owned concierge home care agency built on a simple belief: caregivers and clients both deserve better than the revolving door of shift-filling that defines most of the industry. We specialize in dedicated, longer-term client assignments — 20 hours per week minimum, with most of our cases being full-time — because continuity matters. For clients, it means consistent, trusted support. For caregivers, it means stable hours, real relationships, and work that actually feels meaningful.
We take matching seriously. You won't be sent somewhere you're not the right fit, and we won't place a client with someone who isn't ready for their specific needs. That kind of intentionality is rare in this industry — and it's what we're building.
If you're looking for steady, purposeful work with a team that invests in you, The Next Chapter is a different kind of home care company.
