Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a client in Henderson. This position includes companionship, transportation using the caregiver’s personal vehicle, assistance with household tasks, and pet care support. The ideal caregiver is comfortable driving clients to appointments and activities, as well as assisting with caring for the client’s two small dogs.
Responsibilities
Provide companionship and emotional support
Transport client to appointments, errands, and activities using your personal vehicle
Assist with daily living activities and mobility support as needed
Provide care and assistance with the client’s dogs, including taking them outside
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry
Remind clients to take medication
Maintain client safety and report any changes in condition
Follow care plan and infection control protocols
Clock in/out and document completed tasks
Qualifications
Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred
Comfortable driving clients and using personal vehicle for transportation
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required
Comfortable around dogs and willing to assist with pet care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to meet Nevada caregiver onboarding requirements, including:
Current physical/health screening completed within the last 12 months stating candidate is fit to work
Current TB test/clearance completed within the last 12 months
Current CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within required timeframe
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
