Job Summary
We are seeking part-time Caregivers(with the possibility to transition to full-time) to join our team. Bilingual (English and Spanish) applicants are preferred, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

In this role, the Caregiver - Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital part in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. Working closely with the care team and family members, this individual provides hands-on assistance that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Responsibilities include supporting activities of daily living, facilitating community engagement, and assisting with health and safety needs in alignment with each individual’s care plan. In addition, the DSP helps maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment that enables individuals to thrive both at home and in the community.

Current Schedule
Currently, this role requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Additional shifts may be available as needed and can be discussed.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Requires travel to the individual’s home, health-related appointments, and community activities; mileage reimbursement available
  • Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
  • Assist with mobility
  • Prepare meals and snacks, menu planning
  • Light housekeeping activities
  • May assist with medication
  • Community resource awareness and assistance
  • Assist with errands, shopping, and health-related appointments
Qualifications
  • Must have a reliable, insured vehicle
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
  • First aid and CPR-certified
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, respectful, ethical
