About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our growing team in Covington, LA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, in-home care and support. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed
• Document and report any changes in client condition to supervisors
• Follow individualized care plans to ensure consistent, quality care

Requirements:

• Previous caregiving, home health, or personal care aide experience preferred
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
