Job Title: Caregiver for Bedridden Client
Location: Rehab Facility, Annandale, VA
Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to assist a female client who is bedridden at a Rehab Facility in Annandale, VA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and ensure the client's comfort and safety in a supportive environment. Starting Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:12 PM to 4 PM
1 PM to 5 PM
Note: Hours may increase over time depending on the client's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the client with daily living activities such as feeding, personal hygiene, and repositioning in bed.
Monitor the client's well-being and report any changes in condition to the facility's healthcare team.
Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.
Ensure the client's environment is clean, comfortable, and safe.
Collaborate with other facility staff as needed to ensure seamless care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must hold a valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), PCA (Personal Care Assistant), or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification.
Must have a current CPR certification or be willing to obtain one quickly.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must provide proof of recent TB testing.
Must have a valid driver's license or government-issued ID and a social security number.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):
Previous experience working with bedridden clients or in a rehabilitation facility.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both the client and healthcare team.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
