Job Title: Career Pathway Coach – Mason & Pacific Counties Location: Position will work out of Aberdeen, WA and Shelton, WA with a rotating schedule to serve Mason & Pacific Counties Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm in-person Compensation: $60,000 Starting Annual Salary Purpose: America Works of Washington, Inc., a socially conscious company, is seeking a Career Pathway Coach to support participant progression and employment for a workforce development program serving Mason & Pacific Counties. The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree, has experience in case management with strong communication and organizational skills, and is passionate about helping low-income and underserved job seekers find employment. Women, minorities, and bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Candidate must be willing to travel to multiple locations during the week on a rotating schedule as needed. Career Pathway Coaches are responsible for participant recruitment, enrollment, career planning, accurate and timely data entry, and coordination of services across the Career Success Team. They support participants in achieving employment, progressing along career pathways, and advancing in wages and job retention. Career Pathway Coaches receive functional guidance from PacMtn’s Director of Workforce Programs. Duties and Responsibilities - Recruit, enroll, and assess participants
- Develop and manage individualized career pathway plans
- Coordinate services across the Career Success Team
- Support training completion, job placement, and retention
- Drive participant progression into employment
- Improve completion of training and career pathway milestones
- Support retention and advancement of participants over time
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date participant case files and case notes in accordance with program and data quality requirements
DesiredQualifications - Must be willing to travel between multiple locations on a rotating schedule
- Minimum of 4-year degree, relevant experience and/or advanced studies a plus
- Demonstrated experience in case management or a comparable role involving direct client support, goal setting, and progress tracking
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in CRM Software, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive/SharePoint a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional demeanor, sound judgment, and exceptional organizational skills
- Able to meet deadlines and have a high degree of flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations, including but not limited to: public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals, persons with physical and/or mental disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness
