    Salary: $62-65,000/year

Are you goal driven? Then the Career Center Manager position is for you! We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to join our spirited team. As a Career Center Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to Career Center staff.

    Essential Functions:

    • Work with the EDSI Program Director to ensure that staff and program resources are used appropriately and that contractual goals are met

    • Assist the Program Director and Performance Analyst in analyzing performance reports and internal monitoring reports and making necessary improvements as needed to ensure the organization is meeting its goals as negotiated with the State

    • Strong community awareness of Leon, Wakulla, and Gadsden counties

    • Travel between all Career Centers as necessary

    • Ensure and provide person-first services and guidance to all customers who enter the Career Centers

    • Provide mentorship to staff and model positive communication techniques to resolve customer issues and barriers

    • Ensure staff is cross-trained on eligibility for all programs

    • Demonstrate, maintain, and communicate programmatic policies and procedures

    • Prepare statistical monitoring and other reports pertaining to intake and assessment

    • Participate in staff development training

    • Oversee relevant data collection in Employ Florida

    • Facilitate functional team meetings to ensure timely dissemination of information and effective use of program resources

    • Assist with recruitment and outreach to market programs and CareerSource services

    • Seek training and information on new and innovative programs that could have a positive effect on CareerSource operations 

    • Other opportunities as available

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Preferred experience in business, sales, training, or management

    • Must have experience in team-oriented environment

    • Experience with WIOA, TANF, and SNAP services

    • Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts, or related area is preferred

    • Ability to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive attitude

    • Florida Workforce Professional Certification Tier I required (must be completed within 30 days of employment) 

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

    • Valid driver’s license
