Links clients to appropriate services within the community.Participates in the treatment team and assists in coordinating psychological and psychiatric services for the patients.Provides telephonic survey administration to assist in stratifying members.Refers member to the care management for clinical assessment and sessions.Provides information to members and providers regarding mental health and substance abuse benefits, community treatment resources, mental health managed care programs, and NewCo policies and procedures.Assists in the scheduling of BHCCs facility and PCP visits, and managing phone appointmentsHelps manage phone queues and calendars of the care management staff.Assists in phone split when care managers are on calls.Assists care managers with accurate and timely billing of case management services providedAssists in the mentoring and training of new Care Workers and other office staff.Responsible for participating in ongoing training related to Care worker role, updating self on ever changing information to ensure accuracy when dealing with members and providers.Maintains current and accurate records, adhering to company policies and laws governing patient records; performs related duties as requested; Participate in the QI initiatives.Advocate for the patient to ensure treatment needs are met.
