Care Support Specialist
This position provides direct care and support services to the participants in a home care setting. As a Care Support Specialist, you are a certified CNA and you are responsible for training and mentoring new caregivers development, provide support to caregivers and clients maintaining ongoing relationships in the field, as well as provide staffing support to ensure client services are delivered on time and are appropriate for the client's needs. You will also assist with monitoring client's conditions and reassessments to ensure appropriate care plan documentation.

How You'll Make an Impact:
Provide on-call coverage for open shifts or last-minute changes to ensure uninterrupted client care.
Conduct caregiver training, including skills assessments, shadow visits, and coaching on in-home care, professionalism, and client interaction.
Perform quality assurance visits with caregivers and clients to maintain Senior Helpers standards.
Assist with client care support, including ADLs, updating care plans, and promptly reporting condition changes.
Build positive relationships with caregivers, clients, and families.
Collaborate with the office team to address staffing needs, support scheduling, and contribute to training programs.
Maintain accurate documentation for visits, care plans, and reports.
Partner with the Scheduling Coordinator to resolve coverage gaps.
Prepare training materials, participate in staff meetings, and provide feedback to improve care and training programs.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Availability: Open schedule MondayFriday (7:00am11:00pm)
Requirements:
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
CNA License or Certification
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
