Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:
This position is a customer service and clerical support position
Performing duties that prepare the patient for office appointments and endoscopy procedures
This position is primarily responsible for scheduling and registration of patients for office visits, endoscopy procedures and schedules hospital procedures
Prepares patient registration and procedure preparation paperwork; greets, assists and checks in patients for appointments and procedures
Answers multiple telephone lines, screens calls and forwards as needed, returns voice messages
Schedules and reschedules appointments and procedures
Coordinates hospital procedures and records with hospital staff
Completes insurance benefits authorization and insurance/other data entry in the medical record.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Previous medical reception, scheduling and/or customer service experience preferred
