Responsibilities:
The Care Coordinator Manager works under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director or Assistant Director
Oversee daily front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, referrals, and workflow coordination.
Deliver excellent customer service in person, by phone, and email while maintaining professionalism and HIPAA compliance.
Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, collect co-pays/co-insurance, and follow up with patients and insurance as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
Supervise and support front office staff, assist with training, and ensure responsibilities are completed accurately.
Coordinate with the Director and Billing team on collections, reporting, and front office operations.
Maintain front office cleanliness and manage clinic supply inventory.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year minimum front office experience in a Physical Therapy or Medical office
1 year supervisory experience preferred
Experience with Medical Insurance Verifications and Authorizations. Interest in physical therapy or related medical field
Understanding of and ability to perform outstanding customer service
Ability to multi-task
Ability to follow directions and use sound judgment while performing duties
Ability to communicate clearly and with a respectful delivery
Ability to organize time and set priorities appropriately
Ability to establish rapport and work harmoniously with patients and co-workers
Willingness to pitch in to do what it takes to best serve our patients!
