Description Job Description: The Cardiovascular Technologist supports cardiologists and registered nurses in executing and analyzing procedures in the Cardiac Catheter Lab. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring patient status, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The role also involves mentoring students and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications: • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist program. • Minimum of 2 years recent relevant experience. • In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization testing, mechanics, and equipment. • Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. • Proficiency in interpreting data and instructions in various formats. • Excellent communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly. • Well-developed time management and organizational skills. • Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, PACS, MUSE, and MARS software.
