A Cardiovascular Technologist is needed at a 238-bed acute care hospital in Panama City, FL — an accredited facility designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation (the only one in the area), a certified Advanced Primary Stroke Care center, a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and home to the region's only Level III NICU, Pediatric ICU, and dedicated Pediatric ER. The hospital provides a full range of cardiac, vascular, and interventional services alongside robotic surgery and certified women's services.

The role. Working under general supervision within the cardiac and vascular interventional lab, the Cardiovascular Technologist prepares patients and equipment and directly assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. The technologist performs highly specialized radiographic procedures to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency across a variety of anatomical areas, and conducts hemodynamic monitoring throughout cases. Supporting a team-centered environment, the technologist contributes to the general care of patients and their families and assists with patient transport to and from the lab to maintain efficient workflow.

What we're looking for.
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician license
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) credential or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab setting
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 45 days of hire date

Schedule. Days with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $29.56 - $44.34/hr plus Sign on: $10k Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
