Job Summary and Qualifications
Every heartbeat matters-and as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, youll be part of the team that protects them. In this role, youll stand alongside physicians and colleagues to deliver advanced care during lifesaving cardiac procedures. With access to state-of-the-art cath lab technology, a strong team by your side, and the support you need to balance work and life, youll be empowered to deliver the safe, high-quality care you take pride in delivering.
From guiding patients and families through their journey to ensuring precision in every step of treatment, youll bring both skill and compassion to moments that improve more lives in more ways. This position performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. Regulates the Angiographic equipment used to perform special procedures, develops and organizes films, operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures, establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff, and supports the main Radiology Department when workload warrants.
Position Requirements
• ARRT-R Radiography required • RCIS Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist required • RCES Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist optional • State of Florida License required • Vocational School Graduate • Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
