About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe clinician will provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 week per month of Monday through Thursday weeknight call from 5 PM to 7 AM as 2nd Call/Backup. The position involves assisting with cardiothoracic surgery procedures and vascular components with limited rounding responsibilities. The clinician will collaborate with 3 Physician Associates who provide first assist services and 3 APRNs who handle office consultations Monday through Thursday. Documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and surgical procedures.
